Economic development and climate change

This learning event explores the opportunities and challenges presented by environmental changes within the context of economic development.  It will examine how ‘low carbon’ and ‘green’ growth differs from ‘mainstream’ economic growth its potential for community development.  The event will include visits to projects which provide practical examples of successful private and community initiatives in response to opportunities presented by Climate Changes.

What is included in the price?

  • Accommodation in a 3 star hotel on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 March. Extra nights can be arranged in advance if required.

  • Dinner on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 23March. Breakfast and lunch on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 March. Vegetarian or other dietary requirements can be catered for. Please notify us at the time of booking.

  • All local travel.

  • If you wish to extend your visit to London for the evenings of 24 or 25 March we are very happy to arrange hotel accommodation for these nights and to make bookings on your behalf for West End shows or restaurants.
